The Madness Behind The Music

Music is powerful, soulful, and inspiring. I love to listen to music while I write. It evokes emotions, memories, and ideas, and fuels the imagination. As a writer, these things are so important. A little bit of ourselves bleeds into every scene we write and every character we create, and the music that inspires us gives others insight into who we are.

My tastes in music are as eclectic as my tastes in food. There's no particular type of music that I listen to. I enjoy everything from 80s Rock to Modern Country, and everything in between, and my playlist for The Winemaker's Dinner reflects that. Each song has inspired an entire chapter, a scene, or something as simple as a line of dialogue. Some songs, although unrelated to a particular spot in the book, have spurred my imagination one way or another.

Am I going to tell you which songs go with which chapters? Hell no! That would be giving too much away. I'll let you read the book and discover that for yourself.
